What is Visual Inspection?
Visual inspection detects surface defects such as dirt, scratches, foreign object attachment, missing parts, and deformation. By understanding the image characteristics of the inspection target, we build a “thinking mechanism” to identify where the defects are located.
Our company already has extensive experience in sorting and shipping fresh produce through our “sorting system” for fruits and vegetables.
What is X-Ray Inspection?
X-ray inspection utilizes the penetrating power of X-rays to detect internal defects such as foreign object contamination, missing parts, and deformation, which are not visible from the exterior. We offer a range of X-ray inspection solutions, from micro-focus X-ray inspection to mili-focus X-ray inspection, and we design and manufacture them according to customer requirements.

Our image processing software is also custom-made to match the increasingly complex judgment criteria.

Image Processing Software Technology
Image processing technology uniquely processes captured images with advanced techniques, automatically detecting and determining the locations of defects, scratches, and foreign objects. In visual inspection, it performs alignment, positioning, dimensional measurement, and character recognition, determining the accuracy, measurements, and correctness of the inspection results.
In X-ray inspection, it determines internal defects, dimensional measurements, voids, foreign objects, and other issues. The criteria for what is considered an anomaly vary for each customer, so we customize the inspection process to align with their specific judgment standards.

Improving the Accuracy
of Image Processing

To improve the accuracy of image processing and support the production of a wide variety of products, our company develops software that utilizes AI/deep learning. By automating the design process, we eliminate the need for logic changes, thereby reducing the time required to solve problems.
Additionally, with AI/deep learning, it might be possible to identify targets that were difficult to distinguish using rule-based methods.
Furthermore, both AI/deep learning and rule based image processing, have their respective advantages and disadvantages. Therefore, in some cases, both methods are combined to make the final decision.
