A “sorting system” manages the entire process of sorting, shipping, aggregating, and inventory management for the target produce. It is a type of “traceability system” that tracks, monitors, and verifies the production and distribution processes of products.
NIC leverages image processing technology, along with control and data processing techniques for various devices, to automate sorting operations. NIC is working on aggregating, accumulating, quality control data, and traceability data in database used in the production of agricultural products and goods. For handling vast amounts of data, we plan to operate on cloud services which facilitate scalability and security measures.
